A native of Paris, designer Inga Sempé graduated in 1993 from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle (ENSCI). Since founding her own studio in 2000, she’s gone on to win a 2007 Red Dot Award and do work for Alessi, Luceplan and many others, aiming for simplicity and sustainability in her designs. Elegant yet functional, her Collo-Alto Flatware (2015) is named for the slender sections found between the handles and the working ends (collo alto is Italian for “high neck”). Dishwasher safe. Made in Vietnam.
