Bertoia Diamond Lounge Chair with Seat Pad
Price $877.00
Harry Bertoia first met Florence Knoll Bassett (then Florence Schust) at Cranbrook Academy of Art. Years later, the Italian-born designer was invited to work for Florence and her husband, Hans Knoll. Knowing they were working with an artist, the Knolls gave Bertoia the freedom to work on whatever suited him. The result was the Bertoia Seating Collection (1952). Featuring a delicate filigreed appearance that's supremely strong, these airy seats are sculpted out of steel rods. In his art, Bertoia experimented with open forms and metal work, and these chairs were an extension of that work. "If you look at the chairs, they are mainly made of air, like sculpture," said Bertoia. "Space passes through them." Manufactured by Knoll® according to the original and exacting specifications of the designer. Made in Italy.

Bertoia Asymmetric Chaise with Seat Pad
Price $5,389.00
The Bertoia Asymmetric Chaise remained a prototypical form for fifty years, but in 2005 Knoll brought this masterpiece of mid-century experimental design into production.
With his iconic seating collection, Harry Bertoia transformed industrial wire rods into a new furniture form. The events that made this work possible began a decade earlier at Cranbrook Academy of Art when Bertoia met Florence Knoll Bassett (then Florence Schust). Years later, the Italian-born designer was invited to work for Florence and her husband Hans Knoll. The terms were favorable to the artist and Bertoia was given the freedom to work on whatever suited him, without being held to a strict design agenda. The result of this arrangement was the Bertoia Seating Collection (1952). "Space passes through them." The white chaise and regular vinyl seat pads (black, carrot and white) can be used outdoors with proper care and limited exposure to the elements. Manufactured by Knoll® according to the original and exacting specifications of the designer. Chaise made in Italy, seat pads made in U.S.A.

Egg™ Chair - Fame Fabric
Price $5,934.00
Arne Jacobsen designed the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, as well as many of the furnishings. For its busy lobby, he created the biomorphic Egg (1958) and Swan, which are believed to be the first swiveling upholstered chairs. For a public area, the handcrafted Egg Chair is unique in that sitters can swivel toward the conversation area or away from others if privacy is desired. A tilt mechanism allows for relaxed lounging and the high back and curving elements are reminiscent of a traditional wing chair. Together they cocoon the sitter in a single-piece molded shell that appears to hover over the floor. Almost 50 years after its design, the Egg Chair is still used in advertising, film and television as a symbol of sophisticated urbanism. Made in Denmark. Original design and licensed manufacture by Republic of Fritz Hansen.
Our gift to you: a $50 DWR Gift Card when you purchase the Egg Chair - Fame Fabric in the following colors: Chartreuse and Light Blue.

Egg™ Footstool - Fame Fabric
Price $1,995.00
Arne Jacobsen designed the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, as well as many of the furnishings. For its busy lobby, he created the biomorphic Egg (1958) and Swan, which are believed to be the first swiveling upholstered chairs. The Egg Footstool has a comfortable curved shape that cradles the user's legs and feet. The upholstery is hand stitched to the shell with the same attention to detail found on the Egg Chair. The Footstool is especially useful for the user who likes to lean back and take advantage of the Egg Chair's tilting mechanism. Rather than pushing off the floor with your feet, the footstool elevates your feet and in turn, keeps you in a naturally tilted back position. Made in Denmark. Original design and licensed manufacture by Republic of Fritz Hansen.
Our gift to you: a $50 DWR Gift Card when you purchase the Egg Footstool - Fame Fabric in the color Chartreuse.

Chadwick High Task Chair
Price $776.00
Like its abbreviated counterpart, The Chadwick High Task Chair for Knoll® (2005) is designed for comfort to last through a day of reaching, leaning, and the micro adjusting our body does without even realizing it. C2™- Climate Control
Price $280.00
The C2 Climate Control (2007) employs a patented, energy-efficient thermal technology to deliver both heating and cooling from a single, compact unit. Consuming just 1.5 amps of AC current, the C2 uses approximately 90% less energy than a typical space heater. At the optimal distance of 18" from the user, this portable unit can increase air temperature by 32 degrees and decrease it by seven. Control the fan speed with a slide of the finger on the touchpad and change the direction of the airflow simply by adjusting the roller ball on top of the unit. The C2 not only improves your comfort level, it filters the air around you by intercepting particles of dust, pollen and dander as small as five microns. And, because the C2 is not a space heater, it doesn’t contain any exposed heating coils, chemicals or harmful emissions. No filling with water or recharging is necessary, and the filter is removable for cleaning. The unit will shut itself off after four hours, as an added energy saver. UL listed and plugs into a standard 110v AC. The C2 Climate Control is a fully licensed product of Herman Miller®, Inc.
