Founded in 2005 by Greg Benson and Jeff Taly, Loll Designs is built on the philosophy that an eco-friendly product "should be better in every way than its non-eco-friendly counterpart." Using 100% recycled high-density polyethylene, Loll's outdoor furniture collections embody this maxim. Designed and made in Duluth, Minnesota, all Loll products are sourced domestically and are 100% recyclable. Benson and Taly didn't set out initially to create brilliant and sustainable outdoor furniture – their first endeavor was the creation of skateboard parks. Loll's history really begins back in 1997 when Benson and Taly created TrueRide, a design and build contractor specializing in custom municipal skate parks. They created over 400 parks in 10 years, using this incredibly durable, eco-friendly material. In keeping with their goals of minimizing waste, they were looking for something to do with the excess material from the parks – and Loll Designs was born.
