Creating L.A.: Tom Zimmerman

Photographer Tom Zimmerman in the Studio.
Tom Zimmerman will join us in the Studio to sign copies of his new book of photography, “Paradise Promoted: The Booster Campaign that Created Los Angeles 1870–1930.” With more than 250 photographs and rare ephemera, it showcases the era from when L.A. was first developed. He’ll give a short talk about the period and creation of the book, after which he will be available to answer questions. Copies of the book will be available for purchase. Refreshments will be served.
