About the Studio

The 12,000 square foot Annex is a one stop resource for some of the most innovative modern design of the past and present with only a few of life's dings and dents. While these pieces may have been jostled in their journeys, we think their flaws give them a history that is all their own.

As an evolution of our cult classic warehouse sale, the Annex represents an assortment of returned and discontinued merchandise that changes constantly with everything as is and ready to take home immediately. Peruse and purchase pieces within our showroom and supplement your discoveries with new pieces under the friendly direction of proprietor Hunter De La Cruz or our qualified sales associates.

EVENTS Trading Spaces at the Annex Reception: Saturday, May 3, noon–4pm Goil Amornvivat, of TLC’s “Trading Spaces” fame, has joined the DWR Annex to support the Asian American Writing Workshop (AAWW) – a nonprofit devoted to fostering creative writing by Asian Americans. Amornvivat will do an exclusive window design for the Annex that will remain on display for a month. Plus, a percentage of sales at the Annex from May 3–11 will be donated to AAWW in the form of furniture for their new office space, which will be designed through a class taught by Goil in the AAS Interior Design program at Parsons The New School for Design. Join us on May 3 from noon–4pm, at the opening reception for the window display – an opportunity to meet Amornvivat and see his creative window design. Refreshments will be served.
