Learn about AFHny’s most recent project.
Architecture for Humanity New York is an all-volunteer organization of design professionals that provides pro bono design services to nonprofits and city agencies in New York, and promotes the value of design through advocacy, design competitions and public outreach. Join us in welcoming the project team for one of AFHny’s recently completed projects, a medical clinic run by Care for the Homeless at the Broadway Presbyterian Church in Morningside Heights. A full clinic and offices that are housed in only 500 square feet of basement space, the new space is shared with a soup kitchen, a homeless shelter and other homeless outreach services operated by Broadway Community, Inc. For their work on this project, team leaders Deborah Buelow, Shelby Doyle and Pollyanna Rhee have been named NY1’s New Yorkers of the Week.
Refreshments will be served.
RSVP to e62nd@dwr.com.
