ABOUT THE STUDIO

Our Boulder Studio is located in the city's dramatic downtown at the base of the Flatiron Mountains and is surrounded by unique galleries, boutiques and restaurants. The Studio occupies the historic 1898 Willard Building, which provides rich counterpoint to our modern designs with its Victorian onion spire and intricate brickwork. The Studio space holds a wide range of designs for the lounge, workspace, bedroom, patio, restaurant and café, as well as lighting and floor coverings. Studio Proprietor Kevin Brooks oversees the Studio with the assistance of his friendly and knowledgeable staff.

DWR STUDIO EVENT

CU Boulder design students present their inspiring work.

The DWR Boulder Studio has been working with University of Colorado architecture professor Julee Herdt to inspire the next generation of eco-friendly designers. With her course Green Technology: Design from Salvage, she charged her students with designing “an architectural object of beauty and high functionality without spending much (or any) money; vying for selection and exhibition in DWR Boulder’s storefront.” Well, the winners are in and they are extraordinarily innovative. From Josh Arendt’s first place sculptural Social Fulcrum to Karina White’s organic modern Inkling Shelf, these students exceeded all expectations of green design. Join us for an evening to celebrate their work. Refreshments will be served.
