How to enter
Step 1:
Create a chair using only the foil, cap, cage, cork, and label from no more than two bottles of champagne, sparkling wine, or sparkling cider. The chair can be your own original design or a likeness of a chair offered in DWR’s assortment.
Step 2:
Snap a photo of your chair using a sheet of white paper as your background, ideally in natural light. (Zoom in so your entire background is white.) Make sure your image is crisp, clear, and shows off your chair’s details.
Step 3:
Post a photo of your chair to Instagram using #dwrchampagnechair between November 4, 2023, and January 7, 2024 and tag @designwithinreach. Or send it to us via direct message on Instagram or email: socialmedia@dwr.com.
Support the arts – and artists
Your Champagne Chair entry also does good by supporting this year’s nonprofit partner, United States Artists. For each contest entry, MillerKnoll Foundation will donate $50 (up to $20,000 total) to United States Artists, a nonprofit that supports artists and celebrates their essential role in society.
Since 2006, USA has awarded more than 800 artists in a wide range of fields over $38 million. Each year, USA extends generous fellowships to dozens of artists in all stages of their careers, providing unrestricted grants to help support their artistic practices and living expenses.

Pommery Prize
Our official champagne partner will award a $1,000 DWR Gift Card and Pommery Gift Set to the creator of its favorite chair made using any or all of the materials (except glass) from no more than two (2) Pommery champagne bottles.

Entry requirements
• Use any or all materials (except glass), including cork, cage, foil, cap, and label from no more than two (2) bottles of champagne, sparkling wine, or sparkling cider from any brand.
• If you enter for the Most Original Prize by posting a photo of your chair to Instagram, you must follow and tag @designwithinreach as well as #dwrchampagnechair.
• If you enter for the Best Likeness Prize by posting a photo of your chair to Instagram, you must follow and tag @designwithinreach as well as #dwrchampagnechair.
• To be eligible for the Pommery Prize, awarded by our official champagne partner, use only materials from no more than two (2) Pommery Champagne bottles (except glass). If you post your Pommery-branded entry to Instagram, you must follow and tag @designwithinreach.
• If you enter via email, you must send a photo of your chair to socialmedia@dwr.com and include your name and category for entry.
• The chair must measure no more than 4" x 4" x 4".
• Entries accepted starting November 4, 2023. All entries must be received before midnight ET on January 7, 2024.
• Up to 10 chairs from each category will be selected as finalists. If your chair is selected, you’ll be asked to send it to DWR. All submitted chairs will become property of DWR.

• Each person is allowed one (1) entry per prize category. If you choose to enter more than one category, please note you must submit a new design for each category.
