British designer Matthew Hilton creates furniture with the end user in mind, and whether that means a household of ten or just one, he takes pleasure in finding fluid, easily adaptable solutions to fit today’s domestic spaces. An example of that ethos is his Profile Collection (2005), which Hilton started with a chair to accompany his Cross Extension Table, then expanded to include a counter stool and barstool. An ergonomic solution for dining, Profile is simply shaped with splayed legs and an angled back that’s curved for comfortable support. Made in Lithuania.
