“We’ve distilled the chandelier into a simple beam with power cords hidden inside slim suspension cables,” says Theo Richardson, who with Alexander Williams and Charles Brill founded New York-based design studio Rich Brilliant Willing (a pithy blending of surnames – Richardson, Brill and Williams) in 2007. RBW has gained recognition for its cerebral designs, which emphasize the exploration of form, reinventing familiar objects with minimal materials. Their Gala LED Chandelier (2013) uses an LED module with remote phosphor technology to produce an even and warm white light through frosted glass. Evoking the idea of hanging fruit, it’s distinguished by asymmetrically arranged fixed hand-blown globes that are subtly unique. Bulbs (included): LED; 25W max. UL Listed. This size is exclusive to DWR. Made in U.S.A.
