Description

With a nod toward the midcentury designs of Arne Hovmand-Olsen, we created the Skagen Table Collection (2009), which includes a Coffee Table and set of Nesting Tables. The smooth edges and tapered shapes of the Coffee Table recall the popular “surfboard” tables of the 1960s, furthered by the fact that the tabletop appears to hover over the frame, supported by simple brass spacers. The lower shelf on the Coffee Table has a lip on all four sides to keep books and magazines in place, and the ends of the Table are slightly sculpted, maintaining flow from one part to the next. The space-saving Nesting Tables make it easy to double your tabletop space when entertaining, doing projects or any other activity. As with any natural material, slight variations in the texture and color of the wood are to be expected and are not defects. Made in U.S.A.
