Description

Best known as a founding designer for Dansk, where he designed tableware and kitchenware that became synonymous with Scandinavian modern worldwide, Danish sculptor and designer Jens Quistgaard was renowned for his innovative use of materials. Often incorporating wood in his work, he produced consistently elegant pieces for the home defined by their functionality, such as his Folding Stool (1985). This lightweight, portable stool works well as a seat, side table or footstool, with strength and stability achieved through unique triangular construction. Use it just about anywhere you need, then fold it up and tuck away until next time. Not suitable for outdoor use. Made in Thailand.
