In 2000, designers Flemming Busk and Stephan Hertzog founded their self-named studio with the aim of revitalizing the Danish design industry. Since then, they’ve gone on to win dozens of international design awards for their creations, several of which have earned permanent spots in museums worldwide. The duo is known for simple yet sculptural pieces that place functionality ahead of embellishment. Softbench (2014) is one such work, sporting a timeless design that gives the traditional pouf new life, softened with rounded corners and staggered seams. This versatile, colorful pouf will refresh virtually any room that could use flexible extra seating. It’s fitted with a removable cover for easy cleaning. Made in Denmark.
High-density polyurethane foam core; felt melange cover (70% wool, 25% polyamide, 3% acrylic, 2% polyester).
