The award-winning Trumpo (1991) is top-lathed from a single piece of cherry by Klaus Mader. The tall, thin shaft enables the youngest players to twirl it between their palms for a smooth, strong launch. It has difficulty level of 3, with 1 being the hardest. Mader’s tops are distinguished by the burned-in stripe around each top’s equator – as well as their sublime symmetry and balance.
