Ron Rezek’s Ball Fan (2003) takes a clean, minimal approach to ceiling fan design, with all its components house in a simple sphere. Using a patented single-piece rotor with attached blades, wobbling is diminished on all three of the fan’s speeds (80/120/210rpm). The four 52" plywood blades and 120V motor move 6,000 cubic feet of air per minute at the highest speed. A reverse switch keeps warm air circulating during cooler months and the fan is controlled with either a wall-mounted unit or optional remote (sold separately). Three stem attachments (3"/6"/16") provide options for various ceiling heights. The Ball Fan has received the Environmental Protection Agency’s Energy Star rating for energy efficiency. Energy Star-qualified fans meet strict guidelines set by the EPA and Department of Energy, and are, on average, 50% more efficient than standard models. UL/CSA-listed for use inside, in high moisture areas and in protected outdoor areas. Ball is available with or without halogen light. Assembly required. Halogen: 75W PAR-16 max.
