Our Bantam Collection, which builds in comfort across the entire surface of each piece, takes its inspiration from this period while taking advantage of the technical advances since. Influenced by the furnishings of Edward J. Wormley, the Bantam Armchair delivers supreme physical comfort as well as aesthetic pleasure. It has the kind of deep, resilient, comfortable seat cushion often associated with a traditional club chair. As in the sofa, premium foam padding covers the entire frame to create a softly rounded profile that is both visually pleasing as well as sophisticated. The fitted upholstered backs feature a single row of button tufting while the perimeters are outlined by the clean lines of piped seams. The frame is CNC precision cut with interlocking joints that are corner blocked for added stability and strength. Tapered solid wood legs hold the Bantam pieces aloft. Made in U.S.A.
