Jeffrey Bernett and Nicholas Dodziuk's Liege Desk (2005) is a workspace solution for the office or home. Standing in a small footprint, the Liege Desk’s functional storage can be assembled so it is on the left or right of the sitter. The stainless steel sleigh legs make the desk easy to slide if you need to move it, and the wood veneers are from well-managed forests. One deep drawer accommodates regular files or, with an adapter, legal-sized files. The smaller drawer holds pens, pencils and other small items. Holes drilled in the Liege accommodate an ergonomic Soho Keyboard (sold separately). The stainless steel is finish-free, and the wood varnish is nontoxic and low in volatile organic compounds, making this a smart modern desk for today’s home or office.
