Paolo Rizzatto’s Costanza Floor Lamp (1986) has been copied so frequently, it has become an archetype of modern lighting. Costanza’s square brushed-aluminum base firmly holds a telescoping adjustable stem. The innovative power switch/dimmer is a sensorial aluminum bar, requiring only a slight touch to adjust the light intensity and turn the lamp on and off. The polycarbonate shade, which is held together with aluminum rivets, offers a warm, diffused light and is easy to clean. Costanza is made by Luceplan, the award-winning Italian lighting company that was founded in 1978 by Rizzatto, Riccardo Sarfatti and Sandra Severi. Bulb (not included): incandescent 100W/A-19. Made in Italy.
The telescoping stem is adjustable from 47-63".
A sleek sensorial bar (just below the lampshade) is both a dimmer and on/off switch.
Touch-sensitive dimmer offers four levels of light intensity.
