Axor Citterio Roman Tub Filler + Rough and Plate
Equipped with lever handles for ergonomic control, this ADA-compliant Tub Filler comes with the required Rough and Mounting Plate for installation. The term “Roman Tub” is a nod toward the mineral baths that the Romans enjoyed and because these tubs are designed for soaking, they tend to be deeper than standard tubs. Roman Tub faucets are either mounted on the tub itself or on the surrounding deck or platform. Let your eyes follow the outline of this faucet and handles and you’ll see that Antonio Citterio is playing with circles and squares, each shape morphing into the next as angles and curves combine. The effect is similar to how Citterio’s architectural projects enhance the flow of one space to another, like between the living and bath areas he created for the Bulgari Hotel in Milan. In addition to that hotel, Axor Citterio products have been installed in contract and residential projects worldwide. Made in Germany by Hansgrohe.
