Pietro Arosio's Sliding Sofa transforms easily from sofa to bed, and can be further modified with a simple change of slipcover. Easily removed with a zipper, the slipcover comes in four colors. The upholstery has a soft, sueded quality. Made in Italy.

Pietro Arosio
The phrase "made in Italy" has come to stand for unsurpassed quality, design excellence, and continual technical innovation, and the work of Pietro Arosio has all three in spades. Born in Lissone, Italy, and educated at the Institute of Applied Arts in Monza (where the famous design Triennale began), Arosio started his independent studio in 1972 with designs for some of Italy's leading interiors and furniture manufacturers. His line for Tacchini, for instance, demonstrates Arosio's deep understanding for the technical aspects of the pieces' mechanisms without sacrificing style and use.
