Few floor lamps mix elements of traditional and - industrial design with the grace and impeccable styling of Enrico Franzolini's Gilda Floor Lamp (1997). Designed with an oversized jute shade, the lamp resolves in a reed-thin telescoping spine that expands and contracts from 112 to 50 inches. The whole culminates in a flared tripod base that is solidly crafted of die-cast aluminum. With its epic proportions, the shade allows light from the 200W bulb to glow warmly across a far broader surface than a traditional floor lamp allows.
