Stainless Steel Bowl - 7"
Throughout his notable career, Sori Yanagi has combined modern techniques with the delicacy of traditional Japanese design. His Stainless Steel Bowl (1960) borrows from his work in industrial products, and applies it to an everyday household item. This Bowl, which comes in three sizes that nest for storage, has no “lip” on the rim, which makes it easier to clean and gives the Bowl a well-resolved aesthetic that’s suitable for serving or leaving out on the countertop. This design also allows the Bowl to be paired with Yanagi’s stainless steel strainers (sold separately), each of which fit snugly inside a corresponding Bowl.
