Stainless Steel Strainer - 10"
Throughout his notable career, Sori Yanagi has combined modern techniques with the delicacy of traditional Japanese design. His Stainless Steel Strainer (1960) borrows from his work in industrial products, and applies it to an everyday household item. This Strainer, which comes in three sizes that nest for storage, has a wide “lip” on the rim, which allows it to fit more securely over the top rim of a pot or bowl. When paired with Yanagi’s stainless steel bowls (sold separately), each Strainer fits snugly inside a corresponding Bowl. The lip on the Strainer extends beyond the rim of the bowl to help prevent spills, and the strainers are not as deep as the bowls, which leaves enough space for liquids to collect. Each piece is sold separately so you can select the sizes that fit your needs.
