Jon Gasca has learned a lot from his father Jesús, who founded Stua (Solo Tengo Un Amor: I have only one love) in San Sebastian, Spain. He has also learned how to have patience because this is a company that will spend years carefully developing an idea. When he first saw the prototype for his Eclipse Nesting Tables (2009), he wondered: “Will it make an impression on people? And will it be enjoyed for a long time?” For this organically shaped modular set of tables – and all of the other items Stua creates – the answer to those questions is “yes.” The three tables in this set are each a different shape and height, allowing for endless configurations. The smaller tables can be concealed under the largest and brought out when more surface space is needed. Simple assembly required.
