The Dash Extension Table (2008) has an extension system that¹s built with a steel cable to synchronize the movement of each leaf. In the space between the leaves, a self-storing "butterfly" leaf unfolds and locks into place. This leaf matches the grain on the tabletop for an uninterrupted line, and because the top extends without the legs moving, the Dash Table stays centered under a lighting fixture or on top of a rug. Available in walnut, oak and wenge-stained white oak veneer; the walnut veneer has a "cathedral" grain, which refers to grain that is characterized by a series of stacked peaks, like cathedrals.
