Operating out of his design studio in East London, designer Nick Fraser creates furniture, lighting and accessories that bring a touch of playfulness to the home. His charming designs have been shown at international exhibitions such as 100% Design in London, Maison & Objet in Paris and Salone Satellite in Milan and are found worldwide. Striking a fine balance between modern design and traditional material, his Geometric Terra-Cotta Pot (2011) provides a fresh take on the classic terra-cotta pot. Its geometrical shape was inspired by the irregular yet clean lines of Rem Koolhaas’ Casa da Música in Porto, Portugal. Because this unique pot looks different from every angle, it’s especially eye-catching when arranged in multiples, creating a fun landscape of contrasting profiles. This slip-cast, hand-finished pot is perfect for growing flowers, herbs and other plants. Conceived with windowsills in mind, it includes a drainage tray. Made in the U.K.
