Named Product of the Year at the FX International Interior Design Awards in the year of its release, the LEM Piston Stool (2000) reveals a rigorous and original rethinking of the form and function of seating. The sculptural seat swivels and adjusts easily from counter height to bar height with a lever that activates a gas cylinder. Its visual lightness that creates the illusion of freedom from gravity. LEM is included in the permanent collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum. Made in Italy.

Shin and Tomoko Azumi
Before they formed their own separate design studios in 2005, the team of Shin Azumi and Tomoko Azumi had formed Azumi studio in 1995 in London and produced truly witty furniture and products. Each trained first in Japan and then at the prestigious Royal College of Art in London and together as Azumi studio they won numerous awards.
