Marcello Ziliani's Sally Wall Sconce (1994) is a simple wall fixture that offers both diffused and direct light from its hand-blown, acid-etched glass shade and aluminum body. This contract-quality sconce works well in multiples, illuminating everything from lobbies and cafés to bedrooms and living rooms. Ziliani, who studied under Achille Castiglioni at Milan Polytechnic, has been designing for Flos since 1994 and has been nominated five times for the Compasso d'Oro Award.
