Inspired by the mid-century designs of Arne Hovmand-Olsen, we created the Skagen Table Collection (2009), which includes this Coffee Table, as well as a set of two Nesting Tables. The smooth edges and tapered shapes of the Coffee Table recall the popular "surfboard" tables of the 1960s, and there's an elegance in how the tabletop appears to hover over the frame, supported by simple brass spacers. The lower shelf creates convenient storage, and two ends are finished with slightly sculpted shapes, maintaining flow from one part to the next. Made in U.S.A.
