For his fifth textile for Maharam, fashion designer Paul Smith moved beyond stripes, designing Exaggerated Plaid, which is inspired by Scottish heritage and executed with a modern sensibility by deliberately composing three distinct plaids of varying density in unexpected colors, like loden, crimson and fuchsia. Exaggerated Plaid (2010) is 100% wool. This fabric offers reduced environmental impact and is Greenguard Children and Schoolssm certified for low chemical and particle emissions and may contribute to LEED certification. This fully licensed fabric is produced by Maharam Design Studio according to the designer's specifications.
