The Veneto Collection (2006) pairs the durability of teak wood with an innovative hand-woven fiber called WaProLace®, creating a uniquely modern outdoor seating and dining collection. Contract quality, the Adjustable Lounge Armchair’s clean lines and natural coloration suit applications from pool to patio and beyond. The Adjustable Lounge Armchair’s back manually reclines, providing an unusual level of outdoor comfort. Its frame is made from sustainable teak, harvested from plantations managed by the Ministry of Forestry for the Indonesian government. This teak is taken from the inner part of the tree’s trunk, where the wood is rich in oils and devoid of knots. Like all teak, it will patina to a rich, silvery color over time, or can be treated with teak oil to maintain its original luster. The Chair’s seat and back are made from WaProLace, a polyethylene fiber that has been specially tested to maintain its color and resist corrosion from chlorine, salt water or other outdoor elements. This 100% recyclable material is nontoxic and can withstand temperatures from -94°F–176°F. Assembly of the Veneto Adjustable Lounge requires wood glue, sandpaper and a hammer.
