The Portola Sofa Series (2003) merges fine craftsmanship with size and color options to offer easy-to-live-with leather seating. Available in three different lengths, the sofa is generously proportioned with firm, deep cushions and an angled seat back. The back cushions sit flush with the seat cushions and are zippered in place for a neat appearance. The kiln-dried hardwood frame is built for durability and retention of form, and has a lifetime warranty. Fully fabricated and reinforced, the frame is also foam padded on the back, sides and front deck for added bolstering. Luxurious double-needle top-stitched, full-grain leather upholstery has a soft, supple hand and is applied to the structure in larger panels using a special fixed slipcover technique. The Portola Armchair and Ottoman update classic drawing room ease with soft leather upholstery, wide seats and robust geometry. With a comfort usually attained in most chairs only after years of use, the armchair is ideal for leisurely reading, lounging or conversing. The Portola Sofas are designed and constructed to look pleasing from all angles, due to the fixed slipcovered-upholstery technique, crisp angles and quality construction.
