Josep Mora's Egoa Task Chair (1991) uses the same comfort-driven ergonomics of the Egoa Armchair, but adds casters and height-adjustability to create a lightly scaled office seating solution. An ingeniously hinged seat and back move easily with the body, inviting users to adopt a dynamic sitting posture and allowing free range of movement. The Egoa Task Chair features self-breaking casters to prevent roll-aways and the gas piston easily moves the seat height from 17" to 22.5". Mora's work uses technical solutions to solve problems related to movement - as demonstrated by the Egoa's specially designed hinged seat.
