A modernist revision of the halogen torchiere, the Drink Floor Lamp (2004) represents both functional and aesthetic advances. Inspired by the simple, iconic form of a long-stemmed wine glass, the lamp's tall shade effectively protects the halogen bulb while still allowing for efficient light-shedding. At nearly six feet tall, the design provides bright, crisp white uplighting for spaces with average ceiling heights of 8 to 12 feet. A touch-sensitive dimmer, located on the stem, adjusts light to suit the task. A heavy steel base guards against tipping. Bulb (not included): halogen 250W/120V/E26/T10. Made in Italy.
