The upholstered Reve Bed (1996) brings soft texture and warm color into the bedroom. The padded, slipcovered headboard is tall and precisely angled to provide a comfortable backrest when reading or watching TV. The side and foot rails are also padded and upholstered, and all of the slipcovers are removable for dry cleaning. Solid beech slats reinforced with rubber form the sturdy platform, and castors underneath the headboard allow for easy mobility. Recessed steel legs prevent midnight toe stubbing. A machine-washable, cotton headboard protector is included. The platform is delivered in manageable pieces for easy maneuvering through doors and hallways. The Reve Bed is compatible with our Sonno Mattresses. To update the look of an existing Reve Bed, additional slipcovers can be purchased separately. Assembly required. Made in Canada.

Dissatisfied with the quality and limited functionality of the furniture he received from his overseas manufacturers, Bendtsen sold his store, moved to Europe and became a full time designer.
