Made with a patented sleeper mechanism, the Lino Comfort Sleeper (2004) pulls out and unfolds to provide an exceptionally comfortable queen-sized sleeping surface. The length of the bed is a full 80", yet it uses 12" less space than conventional sleeper sofas. Based on a European platform bed, the sleeping surface consists of a high-density 4.5" foam mattress that rests entirely on a wooden platform, banishing the discomfort of hidden metal support bars and coil springs. The mattress is attached to the platform for easy opening and closing of the sofa, but can be removed for cleaning and maintenance. When closed, the Lino comfortably seats three. Available in either comfortable 100% cotton upholstery from a small family-run mill in Italy, or soft and traffic-friendly leather upholstery that is cut from premium European hides.
