Ufficio Tecnico – Knoll’s in-house technical team of engineers and designers – created this cantilevered tubular metal chair as an elegant solution for tight spaces. The compact footprint of the Spoleto Chair (1971) makes it a suitable chair for conference tables, dining areas, kitchen nooks or office spaces. Inspired by the MR Chair by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, the Spoleto Chair is upholstered in whole-hide, thick cowhide leather that forms a taught sling with just the right “give” for a comfortable seat and back. Made in Italy.
