Educated at the acclaimed Kolding School of Design in Denmark from 1992–1998, Tina Ratzer is an award-winning sustainable textile designer and weaver. Her Straight Twill Throw (2011), with its bold graphic expression, is inspired by geometric triangles and the diagonal weave of traditional twill patterns. This throw is produced at a wool mill in Silkeborg that is renowned for manufacturing top-quality plaids based on long-running craftsmanship traditions. Made of 100% Australian merino wool that is first sheared from sheep bred under precise biodynamic control, then cleaned and spun with biodegradable soaps and oils. EU guidelines govern all chemicals used in the process. Made in Denmark.
