Young plantation-grown teak trees are routinely cleared to make room for higher-yield trees. Too young to be used in regular furniture manufacture, Rama Watana designed his solid Teak Wood Block as a vehicle for this sustainable, under-appreciated material.

Can be oiled to maintain its original color or, left untreated, will attain a silvery patina over time.
