Cirrus Ceiling Fan with Incandescent Light
The lack of contemporary high-function fans on the market inspired designer Ron Rezek to create his own. Since 1997, the Modern Fan Company has been producing sophisticated, state-of-the-art fans like the Cirrus Ceiling Fan (1999). Approved for use in damp areas like a covered outdoor patio or deck, the sleek aluminum Cirrus received the Environmental Protection Agency’s Energy Star rating for energy efficiency. Energy Star-qualified fans meet strict guidelines set by the EPA and Department of Energy, and are, on average, 50% more efficient than standard models. Place a Cirrus indoors to reduce necessary use of electricity hogs like air conditioners and heaters – a reverse switch keeps warm air circulating during cooler months. Compact in size, it uses a patented single-piece rotor to diminish wobbling. The high-power motor has four speeds and is controlled with a wall-mounted unit rather than an out-of-reach pull cord; a remote control is available separately. Cirrus is available with an incandescent light, a halogen spotlight or no light at all. Two different stem attachments are included with the fan (6" and 13" lengths) to accommodate various ceiling heights. With a streamlined, cylindrical body and three laminate blades, it is a sleek and simple design that is well suited to the modern interior. Assembly required. Bulb: Incandescent: 75W/A19 max.
