Inspired by the simplicity and utility found in a pair of serving tongs, designer Peter Stathis created his Tube Top Lamp (2006). The satisfying composition features a transparent acrylic base that supports a lightweight mesh shade held in place by tension. The effect is that of a floating form over a barely visible base, tethered only by a fabric-covered cord. Bulb (included): one white incandescent 60W/120V/G16.5/candelabra base. Made in U.S.A.
