Originally made of hand-blown glass and a metal frame, the Uovo Outdoor Lamp (1972) has been updated in outdoor-friendly polyethylene. Casting a warm, uniform and somewhat ethereal light, Uovo can be used indoors or out. The Uovo Lamp is manufactured by a company founded by architect Gio Ponti. The company was originally known for its stained-glass windows, many of which are still in existence today, including in the Milan Cathedral. Bulb (not included): incandescent 150W/120V/E26 (medium base) or compact florescent 25W/120V/E26. UL listed components for wet locations. Made in Italy.
Uovo can be used to illuminate a path, patio or picnic table (or any indoor setting).
The black plug-in cord is more than 16' long to allow for flexible placement in any environment.
