The Zola Collection (2008) has a simple and clean aesthetic that suggests the influence of Eastern minimalism. The visual lightness is achieved by lifting the Zola Bed higher off the floor than standard platform beds: 9” legs raise it to almost 11" high. (The bed also comes with a set of 6” legs for a more traditional platform height.) The floating effect is furthered by the slim headboard that’s arched to mimic the natural curve of the spine and provide a comfortable angle to lean against. The bed has high-quality ash wood slats that lie flat across the entire width of the bed and allow air to circulate through your mattress. Rounded corners illuminate sharp edges, both physically and aesthetically. To save on packing materials, the platform ships flat and simple assembly is required. The Zola Dressers and Table echo the minimalism of the Bed with unadorned drawer fronts.
