Designers Laurent Serin and Javier Gutierrez Carcache are the co-founders of Adónde, a small studio based in Paris. The duo strives to fashion accessories that adapt to the ways we live and improve our daily environments. “Our approach is minimalist and low tech. We want to make objects that are plain, that can be used differently and for different purposes,” explains Serin. “We feel that the more we simplify an object, the more it will be useful.” Their tubular metal MW Magazine Rack (2014) takes its name from the way the letters “M” and “W” are represented in its shape, depending on the viewing angle. Clean, lightweight and durable, it’s a sculptural solution for storage. Made in France.
