In celebration of the “feeding the planet” theme of the Milan World’s Fair Expo 2015, George Beylerian curated the De Gustibus Collection, an assortment of dining-related objects by the best Italian designers of the past 50 years. The collection’s name is a nod toward the Latin maxim De gustibus non est disputandum, which means, “In matters of taste, there can be no disputes.” The borosilicate glass Dome Candleholder (1977) was put back into production just for this collection. Its designer, architect and industrial designer Gianfranco Frattini, was known for his work in both wood and glass. Candle not included. Made in China.
