Get Lit: Lighting Competition

Design Within Reach's Tree Studio gears up to host it's first annual lighting competition, Get Lit. It's open to all, designers and design enthusiasts. Select designs will be showcased on June 10 at a NeoCon® after party at DWR Tree Studio. Renowned lighting designer Pablo Pardo, Apartment Therapy editor Janel Laban and DWR's lighting buyer, Matt Richmond will judge the entries.  An evening with rug designer Angela Adams
Wednesday, June 11, 6–9pm
Inspired by the natural beauty of the Maine coastline where she grew up and still resides, Angela Adams has created a distinct visual language that can be seen in her rugs, as well as her handbags, prints and housewares. Join us in welcoming Adams to the Chicago Tree Studios Studio for a presentation that will include her story, as well as a documentary film. She will be joined by her husband and business partner, furniture designer Sherwood Hamill. Refreshments will be served.
