Since its founding in 1951 in the heart of Italy, Emu craftspeople have built upon decades of traditional metalwork and creativity to design and manufacture quality furniture. In the 1980s and 90s, Emu became a leader in the garden furniture sector thanks to one of its greatest successes, the Rio Chair. Today, Emu continues to push forward with the development of innovative products created in collaboration with some of the world's top designers, while at the same time updating its own traditional steel products. Its facility is home to dedicated craftspeople who combine tradition, technology and contemporary design to produce practical and comfortable seating solutions.

Emu furniture includes a wide range of seating, tables, sunbeds, armchairs, sofas and accessories, available in various materials, from metal to aluminum, wicker to teak, and innovative materials such as elastic webbing. Designed for practicality, Emu chairs and tables easily stack and fold. Through precise construction, choice of material, demanding tests and standards, Emu products support heavy duty use demanded by the food service, hospitality and corporate markets.
