The Watercolor Rug (2016) began with observing patterns of color found on birds’ eggs. Note Design Studio in Stockholm successfully scaled up those abstract patterns to create this tufted wool rug, evocative of a watercolor painting with its shifting tones. This multifaceted rug is as beautiful up close as it is seen from a distance. Made in India.
