Design duo Jeffrey Bernett and Nicholas Dodziuk are known for creating amazing sofas and beds, which is why we're excited for the Vesper Sleeper Sofa (2015), a design that combines both. Vesper delivers the wide, deep, comfortable seating expected in a sofa, plus an easy-to-fold-out bed that's as welcoming and large as your regular mattress. Fitted with a patented conversion mechanism, the Vesper mattress rests entirely on a wooden platform, which means you won't feel the sturdy crossbar underneath.

Nicholas Dodziuk

Nicholas Dodziuk is the son of an artist and a mathematician, so it’s no wonder he is able to combine creativity and precision in his work. Dodziuk names “real-life observed behavior” as an inspiration for his creative process. “Once you dig deep enough into both stated and unstated needs,” he says, “rarely are there any bad ideas to work from.” He believes good design improves quality of life.
