In 1981, George Sowden became one of the founders of the design collective Memphis Group, and in decades since he’s collaborated with a diverse collection of companies, including Alessi, Swatch, Steelcase, and Pyrex. For the Danish design company HAY, he created the Sowden Bottle (2018), consisting of a stainless steel container with a polypropylene screw-on lid in playful contrasting hues. Suitable for hot and cold drinks. Made in China.
